ISPM 15 is the international phytosanitary standard that governs solid-wood packaging — pallets, crates, boxes and dunnage — used in export. If your consignment moves on or in wooden packaging across international borders, the timber almost always needs to be ISPM 15 treated, marked with the IPPC stamp and debarked. It stops untreated wood from carrying pests between countries. Every wooden product we supply for export is processed to this standard.

Both are ISPM 15 approved. Heat Treatment (HT) raises the wood core to at least 56°C for a minimum of 30 minutes, is chemical-free and is accepted worldwide — it is the preferred and most widely requested method. Fumigation uses controlled methyl bromide and is used where a buyer or destination specifically calls for it, though some countries now restrict it. For most export routes we recommend Heat Treatment; if your importing country or contract requires fumigation, we can process to that method instead.

Yes. All qualifying wooden packaging is branded with the official IPPC mark — the wheat symbol, the IN country code for India, our facility registration number and the treatment code (HT for heat treated, DB for debarked). Because treatment is done in-house, we can also make treatment records and supporting certificates available during supplier due diligence so your shipments clear customs without delay, rejection or costly re-treatment.
